The Mayor envisions a government center where various national and regional government offices are located to provide one-stop services to the transacting public.Currently, 3 offices are already operational, namely: BFAD Satellite Laboratory for Mindanao, DepEd Tagum City Division and TESDA Provincial Training Center, while the satellite offices of PAG-IBIG, GSIS, SSS and PhilHealth will soon be established.A camping site as well as an area for agriculture with facilities such as plant nursery, hydrophonics & laboratory for soil and leaf have been integrated to ensure efficiency & create a service-oriented & innovative center for excellence.

Bustling and highly urbanized Tagum City is the capital of Davao Del Norte. It became popularly known as the Palm Tree City of the Philippines in 2006 and holds the record for having the tallest Christmas tree in the Philippines.
